Casa Playa Maya Sits on the Center of a Private Gated Bay just north of Tulum Mexico on the magnificent Riviera Maya. It is faced with rare Nacoss Woods varnished to a high gloss and even under the stairs and loft it is faced with this rare wood (something like a durable bamboo but dark Brown like Mahogany). The Great Room in the Main House is 8 meters across and is circular, sports a new 10 meter Palapa Roof, 20 Hardwood POSTS support the roof and loft. In the Great Room is also a full kitchen with all amenities-Microwave, blender, large refrigerator, stove with 6 burners and a broiler plus the Island with bar stools for 6 and really the catch all for everything. There is also a seating area with settee, couch and easy chair and coffee table. The dining table seats 6 and is custom made hardwood as are the chairs. It can be mated with the tables in the casitas to make a table which will seat 10. We also have a great Stainless outdoor gas Bar-B-Que etc , SAT TV, DVD with Dolby 5.1 etc. Water heaters are backed up PLUS we have an 11,500 Watt Generator.

The Great room is surrounded by windows and glass doors allowing an unobstructed view of the turquoise Bay and through the rear sliding glass doors one steps onto the Private Covered Patio from where one can step down to the private powder Beach with kayaks, 10 beach chairs. a shade palapa and the best snorkel Bay on the Coast. The Bay is like an aquarium.

The loft which overhangs the Kitchen area is up the circular stairs on the north side and has two twin Beds which can be married to make a King.

Off the Great Room on the NE is the Lower bedroom with 3 meter ceilings, King Bed, AC and en suite full bath and sliding glass doors to one of the patios or balconies. Upper bedroom is similar and has a private stairway entrance.

Behind the Main Villa in a separate Building are two other full efficiency Casitas each with AC, Queen Beds, Kitchen and full baths. One atop the other. Each tidy and trimmed with hardwoods and each has either a balcony covered ( the Upper) with seating or a patio lower in front of the fountain.

This property easily pays for itself through rentals. Simply Hire a property manager who lives here on the Bay and you have a Caribbean 2nd home which takes care of itself and appreciates each year. Staff house with AC and old camper which I use an an office is also equipped with AC. I rent at least 44 weeks out if the year. This is actually a moneymaker. This is the very best Private Bay on the Riviera Maya and although not the Grandest home on the Bay, it books renters consistently as it is priced well per week and can accommodate easily 10-16 guests, 10 in beds and 6 on our Swiss Army Inflatable beds which make up just as a normal bed with mattress protectors, fitted sheets and pillows. Naturally all china, glassware, appliances, kayaks, etc are included. Pressure Water system. Handicap friendly.

In the Ariel Photo you can see the location and facing of the property. The Point on the upper right of the Photos shows that we face SE and are protected from hurricanes. NEVER had to cancel because of a Hurricane while other homes on this Bay and other Bays have been destroyed. Also the CENTER of the bay is where the good fine sand is and not the rocks you find at either other end. Since I was the first to build here, I had my pick of spots. I choose the best. 700 Meters off the beach is the world's 2nd longest Barrier Reef, the Great Mayan Reef. This keeps our Bay Calm and protects us like a cocoon.We have THE best snorkeling on the Coast and the area has far too many attractions to name including the most popular Mayan Site of all-TULUM.

The New city of Tulum is experiencing a growth explosions just now as a new International Airport is to be built just 10 miles from Casa Playa Maya preventing the haul down here from the nearest airport, Cancun. This Property MUST be seen to be appreciated. Away from it all and protected by Federal Law and a 300 hectare mangrove behind Soliman Bay will never be overdeveloped or commercialized. Yes in 10 minutes you can be in the city of Tulum with supermarkets, fine dining and everything else one might want.
